Terms of Service
QueryCraft is a free SQL learning service for people aged 16 or older, operated by Benjamin Yang. Contact: support@querycraft.online.
1. Learning and accounts
Practice SQL with fictional shop data, a query builder and educational animations. There are currently no fees or paid subscriptions. Guests can learn without an account. Membership requires confirming that you are at least 16, verifying your identity with an email code or Google sign-in, choosing a nickname and accepting the required notices. We do not collect your birth date, identity document or a password. A parental-consent registration process is not available. Google sign-in is available only when enabled on screen.
2. Your progress
Guest progress and SQL input stay in the current browser. They do not automatically move between devices or domains. You may import your own guest progress into your account; duplicate missions count once and browser originals remain. Imported progress is separate from server-verified achievements and does not itself award ranking points. Both the builder and manually written SQL use the same grading rules. Account progress is not copied into guest storage on logout.
3. Rewards and public features
Stickers and scores support learning; they are not professional certifications. Rankings are optional and off by default. When enabled, your nickname, avatar, verified achievements, review score and position may be displayed; your email is not published in rankings. You can turn participation off without losing learning access or stickers. Study-group members may see group rankings. Share invitation codes only with intended participants.
4. Responsible use
Use your own email and keep verification codes private. Do not submit real personal data, credentials or business secrets in SQL. Do not impersonate others, access records without permission, disrupt the service or infringe rights. After checking abuse, we may restrict an account and explain the reason and appeal method, except when an immediate security response is necessary. Content and software belong to their respective rights holders; you retain rights to your own work.
5. Reset and deletion
Resetting levels removes completion displays and stickers, not your account or original verification history. This prevents repeated rewards and ranking manipulation. To delete your account, open the account dialog, choose Delete account and type DELETE to confirm. This is also available after authentication if you have not finished profile setup. Successful deletion permanently removes the authentication account, profile, progress, reviews, ranking records, sessions and owned study groups. Guest browser records and messages already delivered to your inbox remain. If you cannot sign in or finish registration, request deletion by email. Provider logs are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Changes and disputes
Maintenance, outages and improvements may affect availability. Planned material service changes or closure will be announced on the site or by email at least 30 days in advance where practicable; urgent incidents will be communicated after discovery. Keep separate copies of important work. Terms changes are announced 7 days before taking effect, or 30 days for material or adverse changes. Where renewed consent is required, we ask for it; silence alone is not consent. You may stop membership if you disagree. Contact us to resolve concerns. Applicable mandatory laws, consumer rights and jurisdiction rules remain unaffected; we do not exclude liability imposed by law.
